‘KYEDI K-BvB Youth Metacognition Mentoring Standard Manual’ distributed nationwide, free of charge
Drawing on five and a half years of youth education research and field experience (November 2020 – June 2026), together with the data accumulated and validated through the K-BvB program, the KYEDI R&D team has developed the ‘KYEDI K-BvB Youth Metacognition Mentoring Standard Manual’.
The manual is a practice-oriented standard guidebook, developed so that mentoring with young people can promote self-understanding and metacognitive competency effectively, and so that a mentor's interventions and feedback can be structured.
Rather than conveying theory alone, it is built from the cases and research findings KYEDI has accumulated in actual education and mentoring with young people, and is organised for use across the whole process — preparation, delivery, review, and follow-up.

By distributing the manual nationwide, KYEDI aims to establish a basis on which validated mentoring methods can be used by the many organisations supporting young people's education and growth — not only within a particular institution or program.
The manual is accordingly distributed free of charge to youth organisations nationwide and to practitioners in education, counselling, careers, and mentoring.
